If the cats are not causing a nuisance but you would like to stop the reproduction cycle, Animal Services encourages you to call CARE Feline TNR, Inc. Animal Services works in conjunction with CARE Feline TNR, a non-profit organization committed to reducing the population of feral (wild) and abandoned cats through its Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. CARE is operated solely by volunteers and with donations received from the public. Through CARE, Animal Services provides feral cats with spay and neuter services and free vaccinations.
Animal Services has also launched a TNR program aimed at curbing growing populations of feral cats. This program is ideal for residents who are amenable to the cats remaining on their property, but would like to have them sterilized and vaccinated. For more information on this program, please call 407-836-3111 or check out the door hanger on the left side bar.
If feral cats are causing a nuisance and you wish to have them removed from your neighborhood, you must contact Orange County Animal Services to make appropriate arrangements for removal. Our trapping coordinator will guide you through the process.
