Soistman   Membership A thirteen member board that consists of twelve Orange County citizens and one Orange County Commissioner. Purpose To assist the county in obtaining donations to benefit the children of Great Oaks Village and other programs of the county operated by the Youth & Family Services Division. To advise the Board of County Commissioners with respect to all gifts, real or personal property, testamentary or inter vivos, donated to the county for the specific benefit of the children that are living at Great Oaks Village or other residential facilities and programs operated by the county under the Division. To advise the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator regarding the provision of services to children, youth and families by the Division. To advocate for children and families in Orange County, especially those who require the services of the Division. Terms of Office Members serve staggered two-year terms. Members cannot serve more than two consecutive full terms. Meetings The Children and Family Services Board meets at least once per quarter.
