Children's Burn Foundation

It was the dream of a burn survivor to have a camp where burned children could gather together for a few days to share their pains, joys their tears and triumphs while having the time of their life. Today that dream has become a reality, through the first statewide camp in Florida for burned children.

The Purpose

To provide an environment where burned children can share their feelings of being burned, forget that they look different and know that they are someone special.

The Goals

To provide a lifetime of memories.
To develop new skills.
To develop new friendships and to renew old ones.
To develop a sense of identity and self-confidence and recognize that there are no limitations to what they can accomplish.
To provide an opportunity to make choices and to be independent.
To provide good, old-fashioned fun!

No one can lessen the pain or terror that a burned child experiences. But we can let burned children know that we care. For more information:
