Citizens' Fire Academy

The Citizens' Fire Academy is a unique educational program designed to provide citizens with an in-depth look at the inner workings of their fire department.

Throughout this nine-week program, students will be given the opportunity to observe and learn about the responsibilities and job duties of the firefighters and fire rescue administrators. Students will also participate in a number of exciting hands-on activities taught by the experienced men and women of the Orange County Fire Rescue Department.
