Emergency Services 911 Communications 911 Communications serves the citizens of Orange County and the public safety community by providing quality service and updated technology through enhanced 9-1-1 service, a regional intergovernmental radio system, and education for citizens and public safety users. Emergency Medical Oversees the regulation of emergency medical services to residents and visitors of Orange County. Also includes information for those with special needs. Orange County Fire Rescue OCFRD is charged with all fire suppression, field EMS/Rescue, fire code enforcement, permit procedures, and public education tasks in the charter (unincorporated) county area.
