Commissioner Mildred Fernandez and Orange County Government will be hosting a series of three interactive community design workshops (also known as a “Charrette”) for the State Road 436/State Road 50 Area Redevelopment Plan. The Charrette will engage residents, business owners, and other community members in developing and evaluating redevelopment scenarios with an appropriate land use mix, infrastructure, beautification through landscaping and design standards, and other elements.

Background:
State Road 436/State Road 50 Area Redevelopment Plan Study Area is a gateway to major activity centers in Orange County and the City of Orlando and to Azalea Park, Lake Barton, and other great neighborhoods. The Charrette is part of a larger project that will result in a Redevelopment Plan, Streetscape Plan, and an Investment Plan for infrastructure, all designed to facilitate community redevelopment and enhancement. North: County District 3 boundary (Auver Boulevard/Partridge Lane)
South: East-West Expressway
