Orange County Legislative Delegation Announces Public Meeting

Representative Renee Plasencia, Chair of the Orange County Legislative Delegation, has announced the following date and information concerning the delegation’s public meeting:

Date: Monday, August 24, 2015
Time: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: Orange County Government Administration Center
Commission Chambers
201 South Rosalind Avenue
Orlando, FL 32801

The agenda for the meeting will include remarks from members of the public.

Persons wishing to address the delegation (limit of 3 minutes) or present local legislation must request a place on the agenda by contacting the Legislative Delegation Office and submitting the attached appearance record form in person, via email to LD@ocfl.net, by fax to 407-836-7395, or by mail to the address listed below. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.

Note that due to the high number of responses, spaces in the agenda normally fill up before the stated deadline. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in presenting to the delegation are encouraged to submit an appearance record form at their earliest convenience.

To accommodate as many speakers as possible in this meeting’s agenda, groups presenting to the delegation are requested to have one individual speak on behalf of their organization.

Presenters that would like to provide materials to the delegation members should provide 16 copies of the handout on 8.5”x11” letter-sized, 3-hole punched paper. These materials must be delivered to the Legislative Delegation Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. The office is located at:
