ASPCA $100K Challenge

                  


Thanks to thousands of local animal lovers who voted for Orange County Animal Services, we are a Top 50 shelter in the ASPCA $100K Challenge!

What Is It?

Happy dogThe American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) $100K Challenge is a nationwide competition for animal shelters that aims to get more animals adopted, placed with rescues, or returned to their owners than ever before.

The Challenge runs from August 1-October 31, 2011.

Why Is Orange County Animal Services Participating?

The shelter that has the largest increase in lives saved will win a $100,000 grant! Your support will help us continue our efforts to save the lives of homeless animals in Orange County and provide services and programs to the people and pets in our community.

Our theme for the Challenge is “Champions for Change” and we are inviting you to be a champion for homeless pets!

How You Can Help

  • Download the "Champions for Change" Challenge Logo and use it for your Facebook profile
  • Sponsor a pet-friendly event at your location - we'll bring the animals!
  • Volunteer at a special event or at the shelter
  • Help us advertise pets in need of adoption
  • Pass out fliers at local establishments
  • Pick your favorite pet and promote on Facebook, email and everywhere else
  • Make a donation to help our shelter pets
  • Donate a gift card to reward our volunteers and staff who help the most animals

Our rescue groups are registered, inspected and comply with Orange County Animal Services policies.
