Orange Blossom Trail Development Board

Enabling Legislation:
An interlocal agreement between Orange County and the City of Orlando was approved by the Board of County Commissioners at their meeting on May 29, 1984, and Resolution No. 85-M-02 was adopted on January 14, 1985. On January 14, 1985, the agreement was amended to establish terms at 4 years. A new interlocal agreement was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on September 22, 1986, and by the City of Orlando on October 20, 1986.

Membership:
The Board of Directors will be composed of nine members; one-third appointed by the City and two-thirds appointed by the County.

  • 6 Orange County Representative

Term Length: 4 Years

Powers and Duties:
To promote the revitalization of the Orange Blossom Trail area within the City of Orlando and the unincorporated territory of Orange County by acquiring relevant informational studies, information assessment programs, social and economic studies, and the promotion of private and public cooperation, interaction, and knowledge to result in the improvement of economic, social, and aesthetic conditions now found in the Orange Blossom Trail area.
