Blue Ribbon Panel Member
ARISTIDES "KICO" DIAZ

Aristides “Kico” Diaz incorporated the Small Business Legal Center, P.A., in 2002 to provide legal services to small businesses at an affordable cost. He graduated from California State University (Sacramento) in 1987 with a degree in Finance. After joining the U.S. Navy, Kico graduated from Legal Officer Training Class at the Naval Justice School. He then received his law degree from the Florida State College of Law in 1997.

Kico serves as president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and legal advisor to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He also is a member of the Lynx Citizen Advisory Committee and participates as co-chairman of the Diversity Committee for the Orange County Bar Association.

He has co-founded “Proximate Cause,” a motivational and educational program about the law from a minority perspective. The program is designed for high school and middle school students.
