  • American Red Cross of Central Florida, 407-894-4141 - You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the Disaster Relief Fund. This enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
  • Salvation Army of Orange County, 407-423-8581 - The Salvation Army is committed to doing the most good with your donations throughout the expansive list of services they provide, including disaster relief.
  • United Way Hurricane Katrina Fund - 100% of your gift will be used for Hurricane Katrina intermediate and long-term recovery efforts. United Way and its partners will cover all associated fees regarding processing of credit cards and other administrative costs.
  • 2-1-1 Community Resources, 407-839-HELP (4357) - Orange, Osceola and Seminole 2-1-1 Community Resources is a new public utility for simple and free access to information and referrals to health and human resources for local residents in need of these services.
  • Florida Volunteer and Donations Hotline, 1-800-354-3571 - If you wish to donate your time or goods to the Hurricane Katrina recovery effort, please call the Florida Volunteer and Donations Hotline.
  • Alabama Volunteer and Donation Hotline, 1-877-273-5018 - Volunteer and donations information for states impacted by Hurricane Katrina.
  • Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation
  • Mississippi Donations Warehouse, 850-921-0457 - Phone for delivery instructions.
  • Disaster Welfare Information - Inquire on the welfare of friends and or family in the impacted states. This link lists websites referring to organizations collecting the information.
