Corrections Health Services (Health Services)

Corrections Health Services, operating under the auspices of the Orange County Health and Family Services Department, provides healthcare to the inmate population at the Orange County jail. Services include medical, mental health, and dental.

Emergency Medical Services (Health Services)

The EMS office oversees the regulation of emergency medical services for residents and visitors of Orange County.

HIV/AIDS Resources (Health & Family Services Department)

The Ryan White program provides health and social support services for persons living with HIV disease or AIDS who have no other resources. Services are provided by local government and non-profit agencies.  A list of services and providers can be obtained by calling the Ryan White Office at (407) 897-6379 or on the web at the hivnetwork.org.

Medical Examiners Office (Health Services)

Medical Examiner

The mission of the Medical Examiners Office is to serve the public and the judicial needs of Orange and Osceola Counties. The office performs quality and efficient medicolegal investigations to determine the cause and manner of deaths as mandated by Florida Statute 406.

Public Health (Mosquito Control)

The Mosquito Control division provides control of disease-transmitting and nuisance mosquitoes to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Orange County. In addition, staff offer presentations and information on mosquito control around the home, personal protective measures, and mosquito-transmitted diseases. Primary Care Access Network (PCAN) (Health Services)

PCAN offers quality coordinated healthcare services for the underinsured and uninsured populations of Orange County. A dynamic collaborative between Orange County Government, primary health care centers, community agencies, hospitals and other social services, PCAN services are available at eight conveniently located centers throughout Orange County.

Secondary Services (Health Services)

Orange County's Secondary Services (formerly Orange County Medical Clinic) offers specialty medical services to eligible Orange County adults who are low income and uninsured. Patients must be referred from a Primary Care Access Network (PCAN) center.

Orange County Health Department

The Orange County Health Department is an agency of the State of Florida. Its mission is to promote, protect, maintain, and improve the health and safety of Orange County residents and visitors. The Health Department is a partnership between Orange County Government and the State of Florida. Both entities provide funding and facilities to care for our citizens.
