Orange County Code Enforcement has an Environmental Crimes Unit whose primary function is to respond to incidents of illegal dumping and improper transportation of controlled wastes.

Illegal dumping is a crime under state law and county ordinance.  Violation of the law is punishable by arrest or civil citation (ticket).
