About the Task Force

The Pine Hills Business Redevelopment Task Force was established by the Board of County Commissioners on September 22, 2009 to address the business redevelopment in the Pine Hills community. This thirteen member task force is to work closely with a marketing and business consultant to conduct a marketing study and business inventory for Pine Hills. The task force efforts will focus on three business corridors: West Colonial Drive (from Hiawassee Road to Pine Hills Road), Pine Hills Road (from Colonial Drive to Silver Star Road) and Silver Star Road (from Hiawassee Road to Pine Hills Road).
