Grant funding is available for projects seeking a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $10,000 award. Projects require a community contribution, which is equal to a percentage of the grant request. Total project costs cannot exceed $20,000.

• All physical improvement projects must be located along a major thoroughfare.
• Communities and projects that demonstrate need will receive greater consideration.
• Only a limited number of grants will be awarded per district per calendar year.
• Organizations may not apply more than two consecutive years at a time.
• Projects must be completed within six months from initial funding.
• Organizations are required to have a five (5) to seven (7) member grant team
• Applications are accepted year round*

*Grant proposals are not reviewed in January, June, July, & December.

The purpose of the ReNEW Wall Repair Grant is to provide an opportunity for neighborhood organizations and individual property owners to receive financial assistance to make repairs to subdivision walls. This program will provide 100% reimbursement for wall repairs that do not exceed $20,000. For individual property owners and organizations that do not have the financial ability to fund the initial costs associated with repairs, please see Hardship Section of the 2008 ReNEW Wall Repair Grant Application below. Funding is limited and assistance will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

A Grant Selection Committee comprised of County staff members review and score applications. Then, the Neighborhood Grant Advisory Board (NGAB), a seven-member citizen panel, oversees the grant programs from selection of winners to the completion of projects. The NGAB meets once a month to conduct its duties. Board members review applications and conduct site visits.
