Project Services is the link between the business requirements and technology solutions for all application system needs.  Our team assists with technology planning, evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance. We also partner with all of the other ISS units to deliver complete technology solutions.

We partner with our customers to:

  • Evaluate and acquire new technology. Working with the Purchasing Department, we assist with defining requirements, evaluating alternatives, selecting new products, and negotiating contracts.
  • Implement new technology solutions. We assist with project plans, resource needs, hardware planning and acquisition, and project management.
  • Maintain existing technology solutions. We keep the systems running on a day-to-day basis, monitor performance and growth, and assist with system upgrades and enhancements.

Some of our current projects include replacing mainframe systems in Corrections, Growth Management, and Utilities; working with law enforcement and the courts on an integrated criminal justice system; partnering with Health and Family Services to support their Primary Care Access Network (PCAN) efforts; upgrading our Animal Services application; and enhancing our Government Service Center application as their support area grows.
