Revised Rule 9B-0475, Hurricane Mitigation Retrofits for Existing Site-Built Family Residential Structures, will become effective April 6, 2008.

Effective October 1, 2007, all permits issued for the re-roofing of single-family residences constructed prior to the implementation of the Florida Building Code (March 1, 2002) shall comply with the requirements of
the Hurricane Mitigation Retrofit Manual (HMRM).  Please see the following for Florida Building Code updates:
