Amendment Cycles
Applications to change Future Land Use Map designations are only accepted twice each year. Applications are divided into "Regular Cycle" and "Small Scale Cycle" amendments. Regular Cycle amendments are typically defined as those involving property greater than 10 acres or where a proposed residential designation allows 10 or more dwelling units per acre. Small Scale Cycle amendments are those involving property less than 10 acres and where a proposed residential designation allows less than 10 units per acre.
