Orange County government is a community partner with the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission. The EDC attracts new business investment in the Orlando region and works with local companies to assist them with expansion plans and other business concerns.
- The Disney Entrepreneurial Center
The Disney EC is a community partnership dedicated to the support and success of entrepreneurs. It brings together a network of Service Providers and other resources to offer entrepreneurs a one-stop shop for small business services including counseling, training, financial assistance, and a software lab.

- Enterprise Zone
The Florida Enterprise Zone Program was established in 1982 with the purpose of revitalizing economically distressed areas. To accomplish this, local governments, acting as agents of the State, provide tax incentives and regulatory relief to encourage businesses to locate and invest in designated zone areas to help stimulate the creation of new jobs, hire local residents and enhance the social and economic well-being of affected neighborhoods. The Orange County Enterprise Zone is comprised of communities within Orlando, Eatonville, and South Apopka. |
