Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Head Start Program. Our volunteers represent parents of Head Start children, students, retired senior citizens, community volunteers and corporate volunteers. Volunteers make a significant, positive impact in a child's educational program. Volunteer opportunities include assisting the Head Start instructor in classroom, bus chaperon, food service assistant, receptionist, clerical support. Other assignments are available, depending upon their interests, abilities and vocational goals of the volunteer and in accordance with program needs. For more information about opportunities to volunteer, please contact our Family & Community Services Coordinator by telephone at (407) 836-6590 during office hours. |
