The following statistics show the annual workload for the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office for calendar years 2006, 2007 and 2008. They are broken down by county, Orange and Osceola, and also by cases where an autopsy was performed verses those cases where an autopsy was not performed. In the cases where an autopsy was not performed, only an external examination was completed. The number of cases that fall into a certain Manner of Death categorizes the workload statistics. The Manners of Death are: Natural, Accident, Homicide, Suicide, Pending and Undetermined. The accidents are further broken down into Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs) and Non-Motor Vehicle Accidents (NonMVAs).
