PCAN's mission is to find a Medical Home for everyone in Orange County (Fla.) and to make health care available to everyone in the community.

PCAN's activities are consistent with the federal Health Resources and Services Administration's goal to provide 100 percent access with zero percent disparity. To accomplish this goal, PCAN has been developing an integrated, comprehensive system of primary care centers. These centers provide medical homes for the uninsured and underinsured of Orange County.

PCAN Board Agencies

Having a "Medical Home" means you have place where you can receive regular health care. PCAN centers see people without health insurance and assist people with limited incomes. Medical homes also treat patients who have private insurance or government-sponsored coverage such as Medicaid, Medicare and Florida KidCare.

1-2-3 Go! is PCAN's effort to educate the community on appropriate use of hospital emergency rooms.  Here are the simple steps to follow if you are sick or injured:

1. Read your first aid guide

2. Use your first aid kit

3. Call your doctor or Medical Home
   GO! To the Emergency Room or call 911

PCAN is actively recruiting active and retired licensed medical professionals including: physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, nursing professionals, physician assistants, optometrists and physical therapists.
