The personnel assigned to the Office of the Fire Marshal strive everyday to provide the citizens and visitors to Orange County the safest environment to live, work, and play while preventing the financial devastation and personal injuries from structure fires. The Bureau supports fire prevention through the implementation of structure plan reviews, building fire inspections, special event inspections, and client education. The Office of the Fire Marshal is a Bureau under the Logistics Division of Orange County Fire Rescue.
The Office of the Fire Marshal consists of 35 inspection and plan review personnel along with 9 administrative support staff members. The Bureau is responsible for working closely with other State and County agencies, design professionals, building owners and managers, and the citizens of Orange County to ensure the highest degree of fire safety for our citizens and visitors.
