Welcome to the Orange County Engineering Division web site. The goal of Public Works Engineering is to ensure that infrastructure in Orange County is constructed to standards that will serve our citizens for many years to come.

The Public Works Engineering Division provides professional engineering support to the Board of County Commissioners and other County Departments and Divisions. It is responsible for the design and construction of Orange County's roadways and sidewalks, surveying and mapping, acquisition of real property (link to Right of Way), and other issues related to transportation capital improvement projects. An intensive public involvement program is utilized to draw citizens' input and address transportation and pedestrian-safety concerns.

The Engineering Division consists of three sections:
