The objective of floodplain management is to produce a program of activities that will best tackle Orange County's vulnerability to the hazards.  The floodplain management update memorandum lists floodplain management activities that have been implemented as a result of historical and localized flooding events.  Activities include enforcement of local codes and ordinances, review of plan submittals, and implementation of capital improvement projects.  The report is intended as a conceptual planning tool only.
