Orange County is divided into a total of 12 major drainage basins. Click HERE (PDF - 260 KB) for a map of the drainage basins. A comprehensive drainage study for the following basins: Reedy Creek, Cypress Creek, Boggy Creek, Little Econ River, Big Econ River, Lake Hart, Shingle Creek, and Lake Apopka have been completed. Hard copy and electronic data are available. The remaining basins do not have a master plan study.  However, there are numerous small scale reports within these basins that are part of the Stormwater Management's Capital Improvement Projects program, which are available in the Stormwater library.

Data contained within these master plans studies includes: inventory of the primary drainage infrastructure, modeling information, nodal maps, existing water quality and ecological conditions, ecological assessment determining critical habitats, existing deficiencies, recommended improvements. In addition, miscellaneous data related to land use, soils, rainfall, stream flow, historical stages, environmental and water resources information is also presented.
