In addition to signals on Orange County roads, the County maintains signals on State Routes, Expressway and Turnpike ramps, the Cities of Ocoee and Winter Garden, UCF Campus and the Research Park. Traffic signal maintenance staff performs preventive and responsive maintenance activities for traffic signals, school zone flashers and warning beacons. They also modify, troubleshoot and repair all related hardware, including signal controllers, signal/pedestrian heads, signals detectors and the communication system.
