Mission

The mission of the Concurrency Advisory Group is to advise and assist staff in the evaluation of concurrency practices in other jurisdictions and recommend any needed improvements to Orange County's Concurrency Management System.

Accordingly, the advisory group will:

  • Review survey data from other jurisdictions regarding transportation concurrency management practices.
  • Assess compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Evaluate the results of Orange County's concurrency management practices.
  • Recommend any required changes to the Comprehensive Policy Plan and Concurrency Ordinance.
