The Alafaya Trail project is currently in the Design Phase.

The Final Design of Alafaya Trail is currently underway. Construction plans for this roadway will be provided to Orange County for review at the 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%, and final stages of completion. The County has received and reviewed 100% construction plans. The County has started the right-of-way acquisition process for parcels, which are required, along the project corridor. Construction will commence once all the right-of-way has been acquired and will take 24 months to be completed. The County has submitted to the St. Johns Water Management District for a permit. This permit should be acquired within the next 120 days. Newsletter updates were mailed prior to the 95% design phase and will be mailed upon design completion.
