The first public meeting for the All American Boulevard Preliminary Engineering Report was held on March 6, 2003 at Lockhart Middle School, 3411 Doctor Love Road, Orlando. 

Meeting Summary

The meeting was opened at 6:30 p.m. with an informal question and answer period where the public was able to view the exhibits and interact one-on-one with the project team. At 7:00 p.m., the Orange County RCA Project Manager, Manon Lavoie gave a formal PowerPoint presentation that introduced the public to the study process as well as the "recommended alternative" typical section and new alignment. Upon completion of the formal presentation, there was a formal question and answer period.

The All American Boulevard Local Planning Agency Workshop was held on May 15, 2003. A PowerPoint presentation was given showing the study team's recommended improvement concept, followed by an open forum for the local planning agency to discuss the project.

The Orange County Local Planning Agency conducted a Public Hearing on the recommended improvement concept for All American Boulevard on June 19, 2003. The Hearing was opened with a formal PowerPoint presentation that described the preliminary engineering process as well as the proposed improvements recommended by Orange County Staff. The Hearing was then opened to the public for questions or comments. The Local Planning Agency voted unanimously to accept the All American Boulevard Preliminary Engineering Report Study and the Hearing was closed.

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners conducted a Public Hearing on the Recommended Improvement Concept for All American Boulevard on August 5, 2003. The hearing was opened with a formal PowerPoint presentation that described the Preliminary Engineering Process as well as the Proposed Improvements recommended by the Orange County Staff. The hearing was then opened to the public for questions or comments. The Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the All American Boulevard Preliminary Engineering Report for final design, right-of-way acquisition and construction.
