This study provides information on the study to widen Clarcona-Ocoee Road between Ocoee-Apopka Road and Hiawassee Road. The study was approved by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners on February 2, 1999.

The purpose of this Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) Study is to determine the improvements necessary to Clarcona-Ocoee Road, from Ocoee-Apopka Road to Hiawassee Road, due to increasing traffic from existing and expected development. This study will document the analysis required for Orange County to reach a decision on the type, design and location of improvements to this roadway. The analysis will consider all social, economic and environmental impacts of the proposed improvements.

Project Schedule
The RCA Study for Clarcona-Ocoee Road from Ocoee-Apopka Road to Hiawassee Road, began in February 1998 and lasted approximately twelve (12) months. During this study, several public meetings were held to gain input from concerned citizens, residents and environmental agencies. This schedule identifies the major work efforts to be accomplished, their duration and when they were scheduled to be completed.

Construction
East: April 2008 - April 2010
West: October 2008 - October 2011
