The Final Design of CR 535, Segments A, C, D, D-1 and E is underway. Orange County has received 60% Construction Plans for Segments C and E. The construction plans for Segments D and D-1 are at the 30% review stage. Construction Plans for all the segments will be reviewed by Orange County at the 60%, 90%, 100%, and final design stages over the next eight months. The design of Segment A is scheduled to be completed by April 2007. For Segments C and E, it is expected that the construction plans will be complete by December 2006. The plans for Segments D and D-1 should be complete by December 2006. Additional newsletter updates will be mailed prior to the design completion.

Construction of Segments D and D-1 is expected to begin later this year. Once construction begins, it is anticipated to take approximately 18 months to complete.

Scheduling of construction for Segments A, C and E is pending identification of funding partners and/or funding sources. Future newsletter will provide additional information on these Segments as it becomes available.

The Final Design of CR 535, Segment A, is underway. The 30% construction plans for this segment have been provided to Orange County. Currently, the 60% design process is underway. Subsequent submittals, 90%, 100%, and final will follow in the near future.

Additional newsletter updates will be mailed prior to the 90% design phase and upon design completion.

Once funding is established for this project, right-of-way acquisition and construction are anticipated to take twelve and eighteen months respectively to complete.
