The second public meeting for the Econlockhatchee Trail Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) was held on September 4, 2002 beginning at 6:30 PM at Union Park Elementary School, located at 1600 North Dean Road, Orlando. 

The purpose of this meeting was to present the community with the improvement alternatives that are being considered for this segment of Econlockhatchee Trail.

The meeting was attended by approximately forty-five local residents and homeowners.

The meeting began with a formal presentation by Orange County followed by an informal question and answer period. Following the question and answer period, the public was invited to view the displayed exhibits as well as meet one-on-one with the consulting team and Orange County staff to discuss their area of concern. Comment forms were distributed to the public in order to solicit information relevant to the improvements being considered.

Update

A third newsletter was mailed out in February of 2003 to update the public on the status of the project and to announce that the third public meeting, was scheduled for February 2003.

The third and final public meeting for the Econlockhatchee Trail Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) was held on February 26, 2003 at Union Park Elementary School, located at 1600 North Dean Road, Orlando.

The purpose of this meeting was to present the community with the recommended improvement concept that was developed for this project.

This meeting was attended by approximately twenty-eight local residents and homeowners.

The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. with an informal one-on-one question and answer period. This was followed at 7:00 p.m. with a formal presentation by Orange County staff and another informal question and answer period. Throughout the meeting, graphics showing the recommended improvement concept were on display for public viewing. Comment forms for the project were available to the public for soliciting public opinion.
