Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Public Hearing Held March 27, 2007

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) held a Public Hearing on the proposed extension of Pine Hills Road on March 27, 2007, for the Pine Hills Road Extension Roadway Conceptual Analysis at the Orange County Administration Building located at 201 South Rosalind Avenue in downtown Orlando. The Hearing began shortly after 3:00 PM. Orange County staff presented the roadway improvement recommendations. After taking comments from the public, the BCC voted 5-0 to accept the recommended alignment. The RCA documents will be updated to reflect the BCC's acceptance.

Local Planning Agency (LPA) Public Hearing Held on February 15, 2007

The Orange County Local Planning Agency held a Public Meeting on the proposed extension of Pine Hills Road on February 15, 2007, for the Pine Hills Road Extension Roadway Conceptual Analysis. The Hearing began at 9:00 a.m. Orange County staff presented the roadway improvement recommendations, and then the LPA heard comments from the public prior to taking action.

Fourth Public Meeting Held on December 14, 2006

A recommended alignment has been identified for the Pine Hills Road Extension Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) Study. The recommended alignment was presented to the public at the fourth public meeting held on December 14, 2006 at the Lakeville Elementary School located at 2015 Lakeville Road, Apopka, Florida 32703. The meeting began with an open house at 6:00 p.m. followed by a formal presentation and question and answer forum at 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting was to provide attendees an opportunity to review updated project information, ask questions, and submit their comments to Orange County staff. Aerial maps and other project information were displayed for review. Members of the Study Team were available at the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions. Following the public meeting, the Study Team prepared the RCA documents for presentations to the Local Planning Agency and the Board of County Commissioners.

Third Public Meeting Held

The third Public Meeting was held April 26, 2006, at Lakeville Elementary School located at 2015 Lakeville Road, Apopka, Florida 32703.

First Public Meeting Held

The project's Kick-Off Public Meeting was held Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Lakeville Elementary School located at 2015 Lakeville Road, Apopka, Florida 32703. The meeting began with an open house at 6:30 p.m., followed by a formal presentation and question and answer forum at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide you an opportunity to review project information, ask questions, and submit your comments to the County. Aerial maps and other project information was displayed for review. Members of the Orange County Study Team were available to discuss the project and answer your questions.
