One Heart – Many Hands – a massive community service project held in conjunction with the Church of the Nazarene's quadrennial General Assembly and Conventions – kicking off a week of work in Orlando on June 22, 2009. More than 1,600 volunteers – most of whom are Church of the Nazarene convention attendees from around the country – completed more than 100 projects including residential repairs and cleaning parks. Mayor Crotty held a press conference before working alongside volunteers.
