Orange County, At 9:20 p.m., the Orange County Fire Rescue’s Communications Center received multiple calls for a house fire at 608 Cheetah Trail, in the Rolling Oaks Subdivision. Callers stated they could see visible flames coming from the second floor of this residence.
Arriving quickly to the fire scene, fire crews found a 2 story residential structure with smoke showing. The residents had self- evacuated the structure prior to the arrival of the first Orange County unit.
Orange County Firefighters worked quickly to knock down the fire; fire was reported under control within 30 minutes after the first unit arrived on scene.
The Red Cross was called to assist 2 adults who were displaced from their home.
Firefighters will monitor the fire throughout the night to ensure it does not rekindle. There were no injuries to civilians or fire personnel.
“The origin of the fire was an electrical outlet on the second floor,” stated Incident Commander Rick Segrest.
