Orange County's Board of County Commissioners meets on most Tuesdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meetings are conducted in Commission Chambers located on the first floor of the County Administrative Center at 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando.

The Board of Zoning Adjustment is an Orange County advisory board which makes recommendations on zoning variances, special exceptions, and appeals of the Zoning Manager's determination.This Board Meets First Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is an Orange County advisory board which reviews requests for changes in zoning classifications. This Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

The Citizen Review Board has been formed for the following purposes to perform the following duties: A) The CRB shall review citizen complaints and departmental investigations thereof regarding the alleged use of excessive force or abuse of power by any employee of the Office of Sheriff. B) The CRB or any person to whom the CRB delegates the authority may compel the testimony of witnesses and production of evidence through the issuance of subpoenas, and the CRB may administer oaths and take testimony. C) The CRB shall issue to the Office of Sheriff its recommendations. D) Operating procedures are reported to the Board of County Commissioners in accordance with Ordinance 96-09.

This Board Meets the Second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

The Big Box Task Force is charged with reviewing land development issues related to Big Box Commercial Structures, pursuant to Ordinance 2006-05.

The Nuisance Abatement Board shall have jurisdiction to hear and decide complaints alleging that a place or premises constitutes a public nuisance.

This Board Meets the Fourth Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

The Voters of Orange County adopted the County Charter in 1986. The County Charter is a constitutional document that allows county citizens to determine their own structure of governemnt within the limits set by the state constitution and state law.

The Board of County Commissioners appointed fifteen county residents for the Charter Review Commission on January 30, 2007

1. The Community Action Board is responsible for development, review, supervision, evaluation, and recommendations for final approval of all fiscal and program policies, plans, priorities, proposals, budgets, and any other activities to be conducted by Orange County Community Action. 2. Deliberation upon and submission of its written recommendations to the designating officials on all matters concerning the local Community Action Program. 3. Overseeing the extent and quality of the participation of the poor in the programs of the Community Action Division.

This Board Meets on the Fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
