    Neighborhood Stabilization Program

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was created by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 to respond to rising residential foreclosures and property abandonment. The main purpose of the NSP is to stabilize neighborhoods negatively impacted by foreclosures. Orange County will use NSP funds to acquire, renovate, and sell foreclosed homes at affordable prices to eligible families.

    United Way

Thanks to the generosity of so many Orange County employees, Orange County Government is the number one municipal donor in the State of Florida. Despite tough financial times, Orange County exceeded its 2009 campaign goal of $450,000 by raising $484,385 for United Way! With this level of support, many Central Florida families will receive much needed assistance.
