Responsible for the operation and maintenance in a client server environment for the department’s LAN/WAN. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Division Manager or designee.
Representative Duties /Assignments
Responsibilities include network hardware/software installation, performance tuning and network component integration.
Performs various network health checks and verifies connectivity.
Diagnose, prioritize and troubleshoot problems to ensure network service levels are met.
Provides training assistance to end-users.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and two years of experience with computer networks, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, certification and experience.
