Parks Will Hold Six New 5K Family Races!
If you like to run, join Orange County Parks and Recreation for our all-new Epic Family 5K races! Pool Closed for Repairs
The swimming pool at Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex, 2009 Lake Margaret Dr., Orlando, is closed for tile and surfacing repairs beginning Monday, January 30th; the pool is expected to re-open on February 20th.
Ages 55+ Can Learn to Line Dance!

ECOSaturdays in February at Tibet-Butler Preserve!
On Saturday, February 25th at 10am, go on a magical journey through Florida's animal kingdom! Learn surprising new facts about your favorite animated animal characters and take part in lots of fun activities. Cost: free, most appropriate for ages 4 to 6, and limited to 25 participants.
On Saturday, March 24th at 10am, explore the true power of flowers and discuss the vital process of pollination, investigate flower parts through a dissection, examine many different types of flowers and learn basic flower botanical terms. Make a flower press in class to take home! Cost: free, appropriate for ages 7 and older, and limited to 25 participants.
On Saturday, March 31st at 10am, decorate eggs in this fun class! Discover how eggs develop, see the eggs of some local birds and decorate chicken eggs! Cost: free, appropriate for all ages, and limited to 40 participants.

Orlando Magic Wheels Wants More Basketball Players
The Orlando Magic Wheels - a member of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) - is a team where physically challenged athletes compete in fast-moving basketball tournament play. Athletes, primarily with lower limb disabilities that range from amputations to paraplegia, participate using wheelchairs. The team plays at the Orange County Orlando Magic Recreation Center at Silver Star Community Park on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm and welcomes new members!
