How Long is the Program?
The Fall 2025 session of the Mayor's Citizens Academy is a 10-week program that will start Thursday, July 31, and end Thursday, October 2, 2025. Sessions will take place on
Thursday evenings, from 5 to 8 p.m., at various Orange County Government facilities. Our Fall sessions will be conducted in English.
Application will open by July 1, 2025.
* You must attend a minimum of 7 sessions to graduate from the program.
** Refreshments will be provided during each session.
Who Should Apply?
The Mayor's Citizens Academy is designed for individuals who are passionate about their community and desire to learn more about their local government. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and residents of Orange County.
Please note that class size is limited.
