Special Event: 43rd Annual Cracker Christmas
- Visit the park on December 4-5, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. Shop for unique gifts among craft vendors and explore the fort and cracker homes. Local FFA 4-H clubs and community groups will be selling gator meat, stew, biscuits and more. For questions or vendor information, email FortChristmas1990@gmail.com.
With the exception of ADA service animals, no pets are permitted in Fort Christmas Historical Park. Alcohol is prohibited in the park.
Tours and Special Events
- The historic homes, school and fort are open during regular park hours.
- Programs and tours remain suspended.
The park includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida "Cracker" house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
