Description:
The responsibilities of the M/WBE Committee member is to serve in an advocacy capacity for the M/WBE certified firms in the Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). In this role, the committee member will also hear certification appeals from applicants that have been denied, educate the community on the M/WBE program and its benefits, and offer suggestions as it relates to the overall improvement of the program.
