Headline 2: Due to the hurricane, all Orange County Parks and Recreation sites, programs and facilities and EPD Green PLACE properties will be CLOSED Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. Parks and Recreation sites will re-open after being checked for damage and debris, and deemed safe for public use.

Youth Programs

  • Volleyball - Fall 2024
    • Co-ed for ages 9/10/11, 12/13/14 and 15/16/17
    • Registration: September 13 through October 19, 2024 (closes earlier if full) - parent or legal guardian must register child; birth certificate required for registration, Division age determined by September 1, 2024.
    • Skills assessment: October 20, 2024
    • League Play: Saturdays, November 2 to December 14, 2024
    • Cost: $45 per child
    • Proof of Orange County residency required (utility bill and personal ID); additional $20 fee for non-County residents.
  • Youth Fitness Membership is available for free for ages 8 – 17 to use the gymnasium and game room at assigned times. Parent or guardian must be present to complete enrollment.

Adult Sports and Fitness

  • Adult Basketball (ages 18 and older)
    • Registration: July 12 to August 9, 2024
    • 12 teams maximum
    • League Play: Tuesdays, August 27 to October 29, 2024; season is eight games plus two weeks of playoffs.
      • Game times: 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
    • Cost: $350 per team, up to 10 players, teams must provide jerseys following NFHS basketball regulations.
    • Mandatory captain/manager meeting TBD
  • Fitness Center Memberships are $100 per year for ages 16 - 54 or $25 for 90 days; $75 per year for ages 55+ and active military. Membership includes access to fitness area and assigned times for gymnasium and game room. (Individual fitness classes are paid separately and do not require membership.)
  • Pickleball for ages 18 and older is held on Tuesday and Thursday 8-10:45 a.m. Cost: included with fitness center membership or $10 per day.
  • Zumba with Cecy (for ages 18 and older) is exercise in disguise, backed with international music! Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30-9:30 a.m. Cost: $25/month or $5 per class.
