Orange County Health Insurance Subsidy (HIS)
The Orange County Health Insurance Subsidy (HIS) is available for eligible retirees to help offset the cost of medical insurance premiums. Retired employees of Orange County can receive $3.00 per month for each whole year of service, including service time in DROP, up to $90.00 per month. After you begin to receive your FRS HIS, you can apply for the County HIS.
