Phase 1, Segments 2 and 3 are nearing final design. Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2026. These two segments will connect the existing Phase 1, Segment 1 at Destination Parkway south to the newly completed Phase 2 at Taft Vineland Road. The Trail will vary normally 14-foot-wide asphalt but also will have long boardwalk sections through wetland areas. Completion is anticipated in early 2028.
Phase 3 is under construction with completion anticipated by the May 2025. It will extend the Trail from where Phase 2 ends at Town Loop Boulevard, along the west side of South John Young Parkway to the Orange County Line (just north of the Loop Shopping Center). The Trail will vary from 10- to 14-foot-wide concrete.
