Enhancing the quality of life by eliminating the causes and consequences of poverty by mobilizing and directing resources through collaboration of partnerships by providing accessible quality programs that assist, educate, and promote self-sufficiency.


Helping individuals and families become self-sufficient by providing accessible quality services in response to the challenges of a unified and diverse community through the collaboration of partnerships.

Community Action Programs

Family Self-Sufficiency Program – Vocational training, post-secondary education and state certification. (Additional assistance includes: budgeting and job placement).

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program – (Energy Bill Assistance) Provides financial energy cost assistance to low-income households.

Weatherization Assistance Program – Assists low-Income households by Improving the energy efficiency of the home.

Computer Labs

Computers are available at various Community Centers throughout Orange County. Computers are used to assist residents with their educational goals, to access job postings, to increase computer skills and to access other computer related resources.
