Rental Assistance Programs

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) and the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) are federally funded rental assistance programs administered by the Housing and Community Development Division. The programs provide very low income households with subsidized housing assistance. Persons who qualify for assistance are issued a housing voucher and authorized to find a housing unit that meets the needs of the family and requirements of the program.
