Zoning Verification Letter


A zoning verification letter is a request by an applicant to the division for verification of the property zoning and whether that property zoning is consistent with the County Comprehensive Plan. An applicant may request additional information regarding the property if desired.


Cover letter to the division requesting verification on a specific property and should include the following:

  • Parcel Identification Number can be obtained from:
    - Property Appraiser Office
    - Interactive Mapping

  • Address(es) associated with the property
  • Legal description (optional)
  • Fee payment
  • Site plan of property (optional)
  • Verification requests may be sent to:
    - Orange County Zoning Division
       201 S. Rosalind Avenue
       Orlando, FL 32801


(fees are calculated for each parcel/lot requested)

$222.00 – if located within a Planned Development

$128.00 – if property is conventional zoned (i.e., A-1, R-1, C-1, Ind-2)
