Youth Sports and Programs

  • Alphabet Soup for 2- to 3-year-old children and their parents, teaches children the alphabet, numbers, shapes, fine motor skills and colors. Parents help their children participate in fun activities, including arts and crafts, toddler games and dancing with music while learning essentials to promote education while at home. Alphabet Soup is geared to teach children to build social skills helping them develop the skills necessary for pre-school. Parent must be present and participate during every class. Birth certificate required upon registration (child must be two years old as of September 1); cost: $30 per child per session (six sessions with 10 classes per session).
    • Session 1 – August 19 - September 18: registration open August 5 until full (no class September 2 for Labor Day).
    • Session 2 – August 23 – October 23: registration open September 16 until full.
    • Session 3 – August 28 – December 4: registration open October 21 until full (no class November 25 through November 27 for Thanksgiving Break).
    • Session 4 – December 9, 2019 – January 27, 2020; registration December 2 until full (no class December 23, 2019, through January 3, 2020 for Winter Break or January 20 for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day).
    • Session 5 – January 29 through March 4: registration January 20 until full (no class February 17 for President’s Day).

  • American Tae Kwon Do is for all ages! Improve physical fitness while learning self defense, self control, discipline and power. Mondays and Wednesdays 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. and 7 – 8 p.m. Cost: $20 registration fee and $65 per month.
  • Junior Explorers is a program that parents can drop off their 3- and 4-year-old children for fun-filled learning on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. This structured program teaches children basic phonics skills, writing, shapes, numbers and colors, builds social and fine motor skills, and helps prepare each child for pre-Kindergarten. Birth certificate required at registration (must be 3 years old as of September 1) and child must be potty trained prior to enrollment. Cost: $50 per child per session (six sessions with 10 classes per session). Bring snack and water to keep child a nourished and hydrated during class.
    • Session 1 – August 15 – September 17: registration open August 5 until full.
    • Session 2 – September 19 – October 24: registration open September 16 until full (no class October 17 for OCPS student holiday).
    • Session 3 – October 29 – December 5: registration open October 21 until full (no classes November 25 – 29 for Thanksgiving Break).
    • Session 4 – December 10 – January 23, 2020: registration open December 2 until full (no classes December 23 – January 3, 2020, for Winter Break).
    • Session 5 – January 28 – February 27: registration open January 20 until full.
    • Session 6 – March 3 – April 94: registration open February 17 until full (no classes March 16 – 20 for Spring Break).
  • Junior Magic Basketball registration is open now through August 30 or until full:
    • Division 1: 5/6; Division 2: 7/8; Division 3: 9/10 and Division 4: 11/12; Division 5: 13/14; Division 6: 15/16/17.
    • Format: 32 teams maximum per site, all co-ed and recreational.
    • Registration: open June 15 until August 30, 2019, or until full.
    • League plays September 21 – November 9, 2019.
    • Cost: $60 per player ($20 out-of-county fee applies); proof of Orange County residency required (utility bill).
  • Parents Night Out (grades K - 5) allows you to drop off your child for a fun evening of pizza, snacks, games and crafts. Pre-registration is required and space is limited; cost: $10 per child. The program is held on the following Fridays 6 - 9 p.m.:
    • October 24: Costume Party
    • December 13: Winter Wonder Land
    • February 7: Candy Land
    • April 10: Luau
  • Toddlers in Motion, for ages 3 and 4, teaches children basic sports skills, team play and sportsmanship. Pre-registration and birth certificate required; cost: $10 per child per session (six sessions with five classes per session).
    • Session 1 - Basketball, August 21 - September 18: registration open August 5 until full.
    • Session 2 - Basketball, part 2, September 25 - October 23: registration open September 9 until full.
    • Session 3 - Tee Ball, October 20 - December 4 (no class November 27): registration open October 14 until full.
    • Session 4 - Cross-fit, December 11 - January 22 (no class December 25 and January 1), registration open November 18 until full.
    • Session 5 - Flag Football, January 29 - February 26, registration open January 13 until full.
    • Session 6 - Soccer, March 4 - April 8 (no class March 18), registration open February 10 until full.
  • Free Youth Fitness Membership is available for ages 8 – 17 or currently enrolled as a high school senior: gymnasium and game room – assigned times. Parents must fill out a registration form and a school ID is required when you register.
Adult Sports and Programs
  • Fall Adult Basketball registration is open now through August 9 (ages 18 and older). League plays Fridays, September 20 – November 8; cost: $290 per team (up to 10 players). Team must provide jerseys; season is eight games.
  • Fitness Center Memberships are $100 per year for ages 16 - 54 or $25 for 90 days; $75 per year for ages 55+ and active military. Membership includes access to fitness area and assigned times for gymnasium and game room. (Individual fitness classes are paid separately and do not require membership.)

  • Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Come play with us and find out why pickleball is so popular! Join in the fun on Mondays and Wednesdays 8 - 10 a.m. Cost: included with fitness center membership or $10 per day.
  • Zumba Fitness is fun and easy international dance moves, choreographed to international music. This “exercise in disguise” will leave you wondering whether it was a workout or a party! Join the fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 – 8 p.m. Bring water and a sense of fun! Cost: $5 per class.
